I'll bet that it is one of the greatest hockeyt games in modern history, with Lou and Miller locked in a battle for 60 minutes. Canada will outplay the US, with the forecheck of Marleau, Heatley and Thornton dominating the low cycle. Brendan Morrow and Backes for the US will be playing shot-for-shot, trying to one-up each other with the biggest hit of the game. Drew Doughty will lead the Canadian defence, not in minutes (that'll be Weber and Keith) but in play, at the ripe "old" age of 20.

If Miller can stand on his head again, the US has a chance. One soft goal for Canada, and the game is over.

Regardless of the result, Canada will still be the undisputed hockey power in the world. One Olympic and one World Junior win does not entitle a country to that title after recent years of dominance.

Hey Mark..you put it out there (a bet offer) and nothing. Funny how the Americans are all talk until they are asked to put their money where their mouths are... LOL

Easy there boys

Let's not get carried away here. It's not like we rolled over them.

Stay classy Canada, the gold is ours.

The best hockey game I've ever seen. My heart was really pumping with the goal at 0:24 seconds.

Congratz to all the wacky Canadians.

I missed it completely. I was driving to a sow load-in. I was getting text message updates. Somehow that just didn't cut it. I am currently sitting at UVA doing a show.
Congradulations on the gold.

Was on the field all this weekend so not only did I miss the hockey game (wish I had been home to watch it) I missed all the info about the earthquake and tsunami in Chile.
